Langtang Valley & Gosainkunda
The Langtang
Valley, inhabited by Sherpas, lies to the north of Kathmandu in the middle
of the Great Himalayan Range on the Tibetan border. This valley is rich
in natural vegetation, dense forests & is home to rare red pandas, blue
sheep & birds. We begin our trek by driving to Dhunche & gradually trek
up the terraced fields to Shabrubensi (1500m) situated at the confluence
of the Trisuli & the Langtang Khola. We then visit Gosiankund Lake & then
crossover to Helambu & end our trek at Sundarijal.
